The Military College of South Carolina, also known as The Citadel is one of six American military colleges. The university is located in Charleston, South Carolina, USA. The school offers 20 majors and 25 minors split between 14 departments. The College was first opened in 1842 and is a well established school. The school works closely with the local community college, Trident Technical College. A undergraduate degree at the Citadel consists of 2 years at the community college followed by 2 years at the Citadel.
